Seasons are a really strange thing in Australia. I'm yet to live somewhere where one or more seasons aren't unnaturally long or short or don't suddenly appear. Despite being almost two months into autumn, it has definitely only just started to actually feel cold here.
After months of skirts and shorts, I am super excited to slip on jeans, boots and scarves again. I wore this outfit to lunch with a friend last week and felt so much more like myself than I had in ages.

The jacket was bought on ebay late last season, advertised as being brand new and asos brand. It is neither of those things but fortunately for me, khaki jackets seem to be the trend this season.
The whole thing is inspired by this look Nina Gordon was rocking for most of the Veruca Salt 2014 tour.
